Bob Bacon, one of the Valley's most esteemed architectural designers has unveiled an dynamic new alternative to traditional custom home design and building called "The Bacon Collections™".

The Bacon Collections feature a proprietary process and patent-pending technology that integrates all of the quality, features and benefits of custom home design and building in less time, with lower cost and without many of the challenges and uncertainties inherent to the traditional process.

Bacon and his team of architectural design and building experts have spent the last several years developing this alternative and consider it part of the evolution in custom-quality home design and building, with the goal of making it easier and more efficient for home buyer, builder and everyone involved in the process.

"The Bacon Collections offers a dynamic new alternative with all the quality and satisfaction of the custom home building process, but in less time, at a fraction of the cost and without the hassles," said Bacon.

This novel approach to the design and building process is driven by Bacon's patent-pending Integrated Building Information Service System (IBISS). IBISS is a revolutionary advancement in information management that improves efficiency and reduces waste by minimizing uncertainty in every stage of the process. The outcome is a thoroughly detailed, ready-to-build, custom-quality home from the pen of an experienced master designer, without the time, cost, stress and hassle of the traditional custom-quality home process.

The Bacon Collections is a growing compendium of detailed custom-quality home designs that are thoroughly documented in a systematic procedure of planning, specification and execution, while still making it possible to maintain the flexibility and individuality so important to homeowners.

The home design series feature a variety of regionally appropriate styles reflecting local, market-specific architectural traditions as well as contemporary regional influences. Each portfolio offers a range of designs that are highly adaptable to each client's building site, lifestyle and personal preferences.

The first in the series of The Bacon Collections is the Western Ranch Series, which draws its inspiration from a highly practical and enduring western ranch culture. This series marries authentic materials such as heavy timber, concrete, stucco, clay tile and metal roofs -- with the timeless charm of broad covered porches and courtyards. These homes are artfully crafted to accommodate all of the modern features and amenities expected in the finest homes.

According to Bacon, he and his team of in-house design, technology and building professionals have incorporated a wealth of services into their process from cutting-edge architectural design to cost estimating, quality assurance and assistance in identifying qualified builders and other proven industry professionals all focused on bringing the best results to the client.

To showcase this new process the company has introduced a new website http://www.TheBaconCollections.com designed to provide important details and present the advantages of the concept. According to Bacon, the site is very useful for the customers, builders and developers.

"Our process is designed to serve both the homeowner and the homebuilder as custom-quality home building must be a true collaboration," Bacon said. "The Bacon Collections offers a dynamic, new homebuilding alternative designed for the homeowner and the builder alike as a better way to create a beautiful custom-quality home in less time and at a lower cost," he said.

About Bob Bacon
Bob Bacon's celebrated career as an architectural designer and student of the "built environment" spans more than 40 years. Considered among a handful of visionary architectural designers at work today, Bob began his lifelong professional journey in the mid-1960s, when he studied architecture at Arizona State University.

In the early 1980s, the focus of Bob's work turned to luxury home design and development of hotels, resorts and clubhouses in exclusive developments and golf communities throughout the Southwest, Florida, Canada and Japan. Some of his landmark projects include the famed Boulders Resort in Scottsdale, the Scottsdale Princess Resort and Conference Center, the Cochise/Geronimo golf clubhouse and the Sonoran Club at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, and Avatar's Solivita active adult community in central Florida.

In additional to his exemplary design work, Bob has been involved as a consultant in the land planning, theme development, design controls and market positioning for several of Arizona's most successful and prestigious properties, including the Boulders, Desert Highlands, Desert Mountain, Estancia, Whisper Rock and Terravita in Scottsdale; Anthem in north Phoenix; and Monte Vista Ranch in Wickenburg.

Bob was also instrumental in framing the visions for three distinctive Del Webb communities -- Terravita, Sun City Grand and Anthem. Today, they are considered among the most successful community developments of their kind.

Notably, Bob has established an enviable reputation as a custom luxury home designer, and was honored in 2001 by Phoenix Home and Garden magazine as a "Master of the Southwest." His efforts to foster the pioneering concept of "minimal visual impact" in ecologically sustainable design, and his work to create a standardized system of construction specifications and processes, have helped galvanize Bob's reputation as one of the most profound voices in architectural design and development.

Bob's career is distinguished by an abiding respect for the visual and ecological well-being of our natural environments; an appreciation for the history and ethos of regional cultures; and a sense of responsibility for the sustainable social and economic viability of the built environment. Bob Bacon remains dedicated to creating a legacy of unsurpassed homes and communities and building a better world for future generations.
