United Lifecare of Texas Improves Patient Satisfaction Levels Using Mednet System's emr4MD Version 4.0

Electronic medical record enables internal medicine practice with drastic improvements in office workflow and increased patient satisfaction.

Webster, MA, and Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 11, 2007 -- Dr. Amanuel Abreha of United Lifecare of Texas goes live using Mednet System's EMR/E Prescribing Application emr4MD 4.0 to automate his office workflow. The transition of office from paper to EMR was quite effortless and the office staff members are already reaping benefits over paper charting.

Within only one month of use in, Dr. Abreha and his office staff members have been able to utilize Mednet System's emr4MD in various office workflow processes seamlessly and quite easily. According to Dr. Abreha, "The system is very user friendly. It is easy to operate and understand. I was initially concerned that it would take a significant amount of time to implement the EMR system into my office and train myself and my staff how to use it, but the implementation process was quick and the system is so easy to use that my staff and I caught on right away with little to no problems."

Shortly after going live Dr. Abreha has already noted the significant improvements in his office workflow now that relying on paper charts is no longer a necessity. "My staff and I used to be bogged down with paper related charting and tasks. It was very stressful. Now my staff is able to complete many more important tasks and there is no need for paper transcribing and chart pulling. The e-Prescribing alone saves a great deal of time that was previously spent writing out paper prescriptions and cross referencing drugs with patient allergies and insurances," said Dr. Abreha.

Mednet's emr4MD Version 4.0 includes a Scanning Module that allows Dr. Abreha and his staff to convert all of their current paper charts into electronic records in the database. Dr. Abreha believes "Scanning documents into the EMR is quick and easy. It creates a higher level of accountability. It eliminates the need of searching for notes in charts which saves time for me, my staff and my patients. All pertinent paper information is able to be converted into electronic data that can be quickly retrieved. Scanning is a valuable tool."

"This is one more success story demonstrating our ability to successfully and cost effectively implement web based EMR and e-Prescribing solutions quickly. We take great pride when our clients are able to realize ROI within a few months of using our solutions and services," said Niraj Jetly, CEO, Mednet System.
