Cheltenham, Glos (PRWEB) April 7, 2007 -- Theatre Studio, Gloucestershire's leading school of performing arts, has announced that the new stage adaptation of Disney's High School Musical will be their 2007 Easter School show. The production, which will open at the Playhouse Theatre on 12th April and run until 14th April, will be one of the first in the UK and the Gloucestershire premiere.
Easter School allows kids to get directly involved in all aspects of theatre: there are two courses open to anyone aged between 7 and 18 with a love of performance, as a well as a unique technical course for students with a flare for design, lighting, sound or set construction. This is the only course offered in Gloucestershire whereby students can learn the complex and exciting life that goes on 'behind the scenes'. Theatre Studio is now booking places on both the acting and backstage courses.
The courses will culminate with 5 public performances of Disney's High School Musical - at 7:30pm every evening from Thursday 12th - Saturday 14th April, as well as matinee performances at 3:00pm on the 13th and 14th.
