New state-of-the-art facility to further boost its formidable data recovery capability.

Fields Data Recovery (FDR), one of the UK’s leading digital forensics and data recovery companies, today announced that it has added to its already substantial resources by upgrading its Clean Room to Class 100 standard.

The ultra modern facility, measuring 7.5m x 4.5m, is equipped with a range of sophisticated filters and high-performance systems to ensure that the environment within its walls never exceeds the count of 100 particles of up to 0.5 microns per cubit foot of air. (By contrast, an ordinary office may have anywhere from half a million to one million such particles.)

The immaculate environment of the Clean Room will be utilised by FDR’s team of highly experienced technicians to carry out digital forensic investigations as well as physical recoveries from damaged or failed hard disks. Computer hard disk platters, sensitive to even microscopic dust particles, can safely be exposed and processed in the Class 100 Clean Room.

“Our investment in this newly upgraded Clean Room will further increase Fields Data Recovery’s industry-leading digital data recovery rate and forensic capability,” says Dr Richard Cable, Sales Director of Fields Group. “This is a significant initiative in our constant efforts to provide unparalleled data recovery solutions, while still maintaining a cost-effective service and high levels of customer satisfaction to our end clients.”

The Fields Group has witnessed rapid growth in recent years, fuelled by its commitment to excellence in business. It is in the process of purchasing a newly built two-storey office building in what would be its fourth office expansion in just six years. “Floor space is over 6,000 sq ft. and will accommodate Fields’ upgraded Clean Room facility as well as Fields Data Recovery and Forensics laboratories,” adds Dr. Cable.
