WebForPhone Offers SMS For Customer-Support
Reducing costs for health-care, retail and financial companies.
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 8, 2007 -- WebForPhone, a service of NetXentry, LLC, announced to clients of its Interactive Voice Response (IVR) the expansion of services to support SMS from/to mobile telephones, as well.
As SMS is becoming popular, it is useable for Customer-Support. It is less expensive than IVR. It is quick and easy to use.
Callers/customers can dial a five-digit number of the application, followed by their identification number and their query. WebForPhone receives the SMS query and searches the client's data to produce the answer. They receive a response containing requested information, such as status of their account or a needed listed phone and address.
For example, members of a Health Insurance plan may query to find a medical provider. They send an SMS with their card number and a name, a specialization or city, and state of a medical provider and get back the answer by SMS. Similarly, a medical provider may send card number of a patient to check eligibility for insurance coverage.
Shoppers can similarly SMS their account or shipment number to obtain their balance of account or status of shipments.
WebForPhone is a provider of IVR services since 2000. It employs advanced Automatic Speech Recognition, land and mobile communications and Internet Search. It serves enterprise clients in Health-care, Retail and Finance. WebForPhone provides interactive applications that require recognition of vast vocabulary, including names, addresses and professional terms.
