In a landscape dominated by male talk show hosts, The Sportsmavericks Show's host, Ida Muorie, a.k.a "The Oprah of Sports," has consistently offered a new dimension to sports since 2004, when she introduced to the sports world her award winning show, The Sportsmavericks Show, "Smarttalk For Parents and Athletes." Ida will kick-off her new show on April 10th at 5 p.m. PST with a special show: "Sports Legends Helping Kids To Reach For The Stars." "MindPlays In Sports Competition is coming April 17th with hynotherapist Beth Pry of MindLinksGolf."        

Ida premieres her inaugural show in April 10th on Tuesday at 5 p.m. PST/7 p.m. CDT/8 p.m. EST, and 10 a.m. EST on replay. April 10th: "Sports Legends Helping Kids To Reach The Stars" -- Featuring "Sportsmavericks' Sports Legend of 2007," NASA Astronaut Leland Melvin and Sportsmavericks' Charity of the Year, "Little Star Foundation" with Sister Andrea Jaeger, former tennis great.

Ida welcomes Guest Host, Sports Legends Henry Lawrence, (3-time Super Bowl Veteran, 2005-2006 Hall of Fame nominee) the 2006 Sportsmavericks Legends winner, and two special guests: Sister Andrea Jaeger, Former Tennis Great turned nun and Leland Melvin, NASA Astronaut, Former NFL Player, to the show. Starry dreams in sports led these former athletes to a lifetime service for others. Each guest will talk about their passion for sports, and their hopes and dreams for tomorrow. The listeners will have an opportunity to asked questions about the guest involvement in sports, education and the community.

April 17th: "Mind Plays In Sports Competition."
Special Feature: Meet the new sportswoman a 50+ professionals.

The show celebrates the role that the "mind" plays in sports competition today. Guest Co-Host, Beth Pry, President of MINDLINKSGOLF thinks she knows one of Tiger Woods hidden weapons. "Tiger has a hypnotherapist.." Beth is a certified hypnotherapist that works with athletes to sharpen their thinking skills and improve their game. Beth teaches athletes how to get the negativity out of their game, and helps them develop unshakable mental techniques. April 24th: "Survival Guide IV Student Athletes: Laying A Foundation For Excellence"
Introducing a system approach to understanding student athletes, and taking them to the next level.

The show will introduce a system approach to understanding the student athlete and taking them to the next level. Ida welcome Guest Host, Reggie Berry, Executive Director of "Goals For Life," and former NFL Player with Dr. Teresa Behrend Fletcher, the Co-Author of "A Systems Approach to understanding and Counseling College Student Athletes. The Panel will answer the tough questions like: Why athletes like TO, PacMan, Tank Johnson, Sammie Sosa, Mike Tyson, Justin Gatlin, Floyd Landis, Marian Jones, Pete Rose cheat their success. We will discuss the Good, the Bad and the Ugly from the World of Sports, and the new NFL Conduct Code of Ethics.
