Leading Mac community podcast joins growing network of top podcasts.

The MacCast, one of the earliest and most popular podcasts for the Mac community, will join the growing ranks of leading podcasts on the BackBeat Media Podcast Network.

Hosted by long-time Mac Geek, Adam Christianson, The MacCast was one of the first podcasts available for Mac users, and as such has a devoted, loyal following. This weekly show covers something for every Mac user, including news, tips, reviews and helpful answers to listeners' questions.

"The folks at BackBeat Media understand what it's like to produce content like podcasts. They do it themselves," said Christianson. "So it was an easy decision for me to join up with them."

"BackBeat Media is all about giving the producer or publisher the freedom to do what they do best while we deal with advertisers and agencies," said Dave Hamilton, president of BackBeat Media. "Adam is a leader in the podcast industry and we're happy to have The MacCast on board," he added.

The MacCast joins other notable podcasts in the BackBeat Media Podcast Network, including Evil Genius Chronicles, Coverville and The Mac Geek Gab.
