Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) April 10, 2007
You can usually find what you're looking for by following foot prints or other clues. That's just what Virtual Assistants and Small Business owners alike are doing as they follow Sharon Williams on her adventure around the Web. The Podcast and Blog Hopping Virtual Assistant leaves clues at each of her stops - there will be 45 in all. Participants follow Williams around the Web as she travels from blog to podcast on her quest to promote the virtual assistant industry and collect the clue of the day. The clue is a scrambled word that they must unscramble and then record on a puzzle board. Puzzle boards are available on the OIVAC site.
Once participants have visited all 45 blogs and collected and unscrambled all the clues - they are ready to try their skill at deciphering the phrase. A drawing will be held of all the correct entries and the grand prize winner will receive a prize valued at $500. Additional prizes donated by VAs and business entrepreneurs will be awarded during the 2nd Annual Online International Virtual Assistant Convention held May 17-19. Participants learn something in the process. Williams answers questions posed by the blog owners and some of them are quite thought provoking. "I've had to really do my homework on a couple of them!" chuckles Williams. The whole idea is to educate the public about the virtual assistant industry and that seems to be happening with the variety of questions being asked and the number of stops planned.
The second week's schedule is as follows:
Prize drawings will occur during the International Virtual Assistant Day (IVAD) recognition and awards ceremony scheduled, Friday, May 18, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. EDT. The IVAD celebration is online, free and open to the public. Detail can be found at http://www.oivac.com. For more information contact Sharon Williams by phone at 410-521-7001 or via the OIVAC Web site.
