Quickeo is private file-sharing with a simple email and no need to upload files to a public website. Quickeo lets you create rich multimedia newsletters in a matter of minutes.
Anyone who wants to share their multimedia files with a select group of people, or who is concerned about their online reputation. Families and friends sharing news, vacation snaps and the latest video of the kids.
- Enthusiasts creating their own personal TV channel.
- Professionals (e.g. Realtors) and non-profit organizations that want a more compelling way to communicate with their clients and members.
- Bloggers who would like an easy way to add multimedia to their blogs and websites.
Quickeo emails -- or "Quickeomails" -- contain no attachments. The recipient views the files via Flash streaming. Quickeo is a Microsoft Windows application. Only the sender of the Quickeomail needs to have the Quickeo application installed on his/her PC.
Quickeo is the only sharing service that lets you create a rich multimedia gallery (of videos, audios, images and other files) and choose exactly who may view each gallery. Quickeo allows you to present your multimedia content in a newsletter or album format, with video introduction (can be captured in Quickeo), written commentary, soundtrack, etc.
Quickeo gives a new edge to the use of emails, turning them into a tool for broadcasting these files. In other words, Quickeo transforms the contact lists of its users into ready-made communities. Quickeo thus removes all the middlemen between the producers and consumers of content, and encourage creativity and greater freedom of expression.
Quickeo's main functionality:
A film, music or other sound recordings are immediately available to the chosen audience as selected in the Quickeo interface. The recipient of the email is immediately able to watch or listen to the multimedia file(s) using Flash streaming (installed on 98% of Windows, Mac* and Linux computers) or to download the file(s) to enjoy in off-line mode, such as through a DVD player, iPod or other device.
