Everyone knows that busy moms look for ways to save time and stay organized. Now add a dash of glamour to the mix, and you've got the Jewel Caddy, "No Tangle" jewelry organizer that appears on the set of the hit television show "Ugly Betty." When you give the Jewel Caddy as a gift this Mother's Day, May 13, mom will know that she's the star of your show.

The Jewel Caddy, invented by entrepreneur Bernadette Martinelli, was designed out of frustration. "I was unhappy with my jewelry box because my jewelry was always in a tangled mess, and I wasted so much time trying to find the other earring," she said. "So I looked for a product that would keep my jewelry organized."

After six months of searching high-end stores, discount stores, and the Internet without any luck, Martinelli designed a product that saves time, eliminates frustration, is compact, rotates with a touch of your finger and holds 100 pieces of jewelry untangled. "Your jewelry is visible, accessible and organized," she said.

Martinelli, the mother of three grown children, said that two jewel caddies, one in gold and one in silver, were picked by "Ugly Betty" producers to appear in the last 10 episodes of the show this season. The caddies appear in the closet set of Mode magazine where the show's star character, Betty Suarez (America Ferrera), works.

The Jewel Caddy is sold exclusively online at for $34.99. All orders include a cloth cover that protects mom's jewelry and a free pair of earrings.
