Based on overwhelming success and demand for Aventail's customer training program in North America and Europe, leading SSL VPN provider Aventail today announced that it has expanded its worldwide customer training program to Asia/Pacific. Taught by Aventail experts, the customer training program arms customers with the information that they need to maximize their success and return on investment (ROI) for their secure remote access solution. Classes are now available in Australia and Singapore, in addition to North American and the UK. "Customer demand and interest has been overwhelming since the launch of our worldwide training program in 2006. Customers are searching for more detailed information on SSL VPNs," said Chris Manly, training manager at Aventail. "We have expanded our course curriculum and now offer training programs twice a month in different regions around the world."

About the Customer Program
Using feedback from customers and partners, Aventail designed its training program to address customers' interests and security needs. Customers are trained by certified Aventail expert trainers and experience hands-on exercises solving real-world problems. The course is designed as a three day session with lectures, demonstrations and hands-on lab exercises with class size limited to less than 20 participants. It gives participants information on: the basic understanding of networking and networking technologies; the basics of VPN technology; the administration and management of the Aventail SSL VPN appliance; accelerating the ROI of their Aventail solutions; and advanced features for added security and end-user ease of use. It also gives participants a check-list of security best practices.

"The Aventail class was one of the best training courses I have attended," said James Gover, Network Security Specialist, Quest Diagnostics. "I learned how to get the most out of our secure remote access solution, and to increase the security of my network. I would highly recommend the course to others."
