California Finds Resources in Fire Retardants: Television Stations Broadcast the Lifesaving News

KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV air solutions. New "green" fire retardant technology -- No Burn of California's Wood Gard -- could be the best home protection.

Rowland Heights, CA (PRWEB) April 13, 2007 -- A tone of urgency was used in warning people to protect their California homes from this year's fire season when KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV anchor Dave Clark offered California homeowners a solution with No Burn of California's advanced fire retardant technology during a Top Story prepared by field reporter Jaime Garza. http://301url.com/KCBS_Video.

In the Top Story that aired on the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. April 7, 2007 newscasts, the television stations showed crews treating a home under construction in the Malibu Hills with No Burn of California's Wood Gard spray.

An on-camera demonstration showed how a fake $1,000,000 bill failed to ignite when treated with No Burn of California's product

The fire retardant is green, non-toxic and non-carcinogenic. An on-camera demonstration showed how a fake $1,000,000 bill failed to ignite when treated with No Burn of California's product.

The home is owned by The Henry Rollins Show producer Paul Morra who endorsed No Burn Wood Gard fire retardant as his first-line of defense against wildfires which consume hundreds of Southern California homes each year. Malibu along with Topanga Canyon, the San Bernardino foothills, Teneja, the Inland Empire and various locations throughout San Diego County are particularly at risk. But Malibu residents don't need to be reminded of the speed and intensity a fire can rip through a community. 1/9 - Team Coverage of Malibu Fires (6 AM).

San Diegoans also know how much damage a fire can do, having fought one of California's most devastating fires in the state just last November. http://cbs2.com/slideshows/local_slideshow_299115910/view

"With California facing one of its driest years ever creating an enormous potential for fires, Morra told Garza, "You don't take risks here." Morra told viewers that using No Burn of California's fire retardant will qualify him for discounts on his home mortgage and insurance rates because banks and insurance companies believe it is effective in stopping fires. And, this next generation technology also protects against mold and termites.

Morra is set to release a new show in June called the DIY's Man Cave Show, which will be hosted by NFL great Tony Siragusa. The program will feature makeovers of "man caves" such as the addition of an in-home poker room, bar, spruced-up garage or home theater studio.

Morra is one of the first in the Malibu Hills area to treat his home with a fire retardant, making this his main source of fire protection.

No-BurnWood Gard Mih (http://www.noburnca.com/products.html) can be applied to the house frame during construction. For existing homes, No-Burn Plus can be painted like primer on walls, sprayed around fire hazards such as electrical outlets and dryer vents, and sprayed on cloth furnishings.
