The Nation's Top Arena Football Betting Expert is Moving Lines in Vegas This AFL Season
Ted Sevransky, the nation's top Arena Football handicapper, is moving the line in Las Vegas anywhere from 2-6 point with his weekly AFL picks.
Brentwood, Tenn. (PRWEB) April 14, 2007 -- The nation's documented number one Arena Football handicapping expert, Ted Sevransky of Sportsmemo.com (http://www.sportsmemo.com), is creating a commotion in Vegas with the release of his weekly AFL picks.
A few select handicappers and professional bettors in the world have the ability to truly affect the line on a game, in any sport. Sevransky's plays, however, fall into that rare category having seen a tremendous amount of movement, anywhere from two to six points, each week since the start of the Arena Football season in March.
Sportsmemo.com has even had to adjust their company policy to accommodate the needs of their clients who were not able to place their bets at the number that Sevransky released with his picks as a result of the significant line movements.
"When Teddy talks Vegas listens," commented Sportsmemo.com CEO Tim Trushel. "We were fielding calls left and right from our clients who were frustrated that they couldn't get their bets in at the number Teddy released. As a result, we had to change our policy to better suit our client's needs."
In an effort to even the playing field, Sportsmemo.com now simultaneously releases Sevransky's plays to subscribing clients on Thursdays at exactly 12pm PST.
Having enjoyed documented back-to-back number one rankings in the AFL at the Sports Monitor in Oklahoma City with a combined record of 50-29 63%, Sevransky, known in the sports handicapping industry as Teddy Covers, attributes his betting success in the AFL to his keen ability to identify and capitalize on weak lines distributed by the Las Vegas oddsmakers.
"As a peripheral sport, Arena Football brings in a relatively low handle for the sportsbooks and therefore has not garnered the full attention of the linesmakers. Professional bettors are willing to bet on anything and everything if they feel they have an edge and we've had a big edge over the bookmakers in Arena Football in recent years. These are the glory days for Arena Football," Sevransky explains.
Sevransky also predicts Arena Football is going to receive more betting action than ever before in 2007 due to the national exposure the AFL will receive through its partnership with ESPN.
