Berkley, Michigan (PRWEB) April 14, 2007 -- Pet Lovers and Businesses will gather at the Berkley Community Center on April 28th 2007, to give and to get up-to-date pet information at the Community Pet Expo and Adoption Fair.
In this time of crisis for pet owners, the Community Pet Expo offers the opportunity for pet industry professionals to connect with and reassure the local community. The Community Pet Expo and Adoption Fair connects conscientious pet owners and animal lovers with local pet stores, service providers and supporters. Veterinarians, emergency technicians and nutritionists will be answering questions and sharing good advice for keeping our pet's healthy.
With this event corporate sponsors and pet friendly businesses have an excellent opportunity to both advertise and show the community they care about animal welfare.
Pet related businesses, including veterinarians, pet stores, trainers, sitters, boarders, groomers, treat and food makers, and other related pet friendly businesses showcase their services and promote their products. Businesses will be offering everything from snazzy collars, tasty treats, boarding and daycare, training, clean up services and many other offerings to maintain and pamper furry four footed, and other pet family members.
Adoption Sponsors are also encouraged to support families by offsetting the adoption costs of a pet needing a home. Last Day Dog Rescue and Bottle Baby Kitten and Cat Rescue will have adoptable pets in need of a new home and loving family. Bazil, a 12 year old Golden Retriever said "Can you imagine being abandoned at 8 years old? I was and it pretty bad but I was lucky to be adopted so I hope others like me can find good loving homes at the Adoption Fair".
The Expo organizers are establishing a fund to help defray emergency costs for families whose pets need crisis care, but are unable to afford it. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of Bazil Beats Bloat; a Survivor's Tail, a dvd/cd package filled with good veterinary advice and education about emergency care and treatment - plus a heartwarming adoption story - will help establish the emergency fund. The co-author, Bazil, will be making a personal appearance to autograph his DVD's.
Vendors and Community Sponsors are invited to participate and call Ellen Brisson at 248-545-4646 for more information.
