The Renaissance Dallas Hotel was recently honored with the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award®, marking the fourth year in a row the hotel has been recognized with the coveted award.

The lodging inspections take place once a year and consist of an unannounced inspection and one overnight visit. The AAA inspectors review, as well as rate properties in relation to the following criteria: ambiance and amenities, bathrooms, grounds and public areas, guest rooms, housekeeping and maintenance, room décor, management, staff, and guest services. After the inspections, properties that meet all the requirements are rated between one and five diamonds.
Just 3.4 percent of the more than 32,000 AAA Rated® lodgings and 2.7 percent of the nearly 28,000 AAA Rated® restaurants were awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation for 2007. The Diamond ratings are included in each lodging and restaurant listing in the 2007 AAA Texas TourBook® guide, in print and on AAA's Web site at www.aaa.com. The Renaissance Dallas Hotel was one of just 67 Texas lodgings selected for this award.
