Significant milestone reached in January of 2007 is testimony to Fields Data RecoveryÂ?s standing as a world leader in computer forensics and data recovery.

Bridgend, Wales, U.K. (PRWeb) April 13, 2007 – Fields Data Recovery (FDR), a worldwide leading digital intelligence and data recovery company, today announced that it has reached the significant milestone of 10,000 hard disk drive recoveries.

According to the companies senior managers the 10,000th hard disk recovery became possible for a number of reasons. However, the data recovery engineers at Fields argue that the industry beating 98% recovery rate made possible by investment in research and development of specialist hardware/software paved the way for Fields’ worldwide success.

“Our engineers make use of our facilities around the clock - and with engineers working 24 hours a day we can make maximum use out of our specialist facilities” added Dr Richard Cable, a senior manager with Fields. He went on to explain that this led to an industry leading 48 hour turn around time on most hard disk recovery work which meant more customers hard drives were getting access to much needed facilities at a much faster pace.

When asked where the credit for reaching this milestone is due Dr Cable praised the efforts of his staff explaining “The credit goes to every member of the Fields Data Recovery team. Every recovery engineer, account manager, systems engineer and director has worked hard to achieve this 10,000th recovery milestone.”

In business since 1992, FDR provides international data recovery, digital computer forensics and data security services to individuals, small businesses, Fortune 500 companies and many non-profit organisations, including hospitals, universities, law enforcement agencies, and even the US Department of Defence.

Within six years of its inception, the company expanded rapidly, opening laboratory facilities in France (under the trading name of ‘Clinique de Donnees’) and Germany (through ‘Daten Phoenix’).

FDR can recover data from physically damaged hard disks in less than 24 hours of receipt. Other media such as USB disks and DVD/CDs can take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 month depending (however, most would be done within 2 business days).

When asked about what next is in store for Fields Data Recovery the a company director rejected the notion that Fields now had no where to go and explained “We intend to establish a presence and provide Class 100 clean room facilities in Japan and Australia by the end of year” and also added “..we are developing a suite of recovery tools aimed at providing low level recoveries to those customers who only require logical data recovery”
