Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 17, 2007
WhatCounts, Inc., a leader in comprehensive e-communication programs, will partner with JupiterResearch's Vice President and Research Director, David Daniels, as a charter member of a new initiative aimed at providing a framework to accurately measure email deliverability and other critical email marketing key performance indicators.
The Email Measurement Accuracy Coalition (EMAC) will address the inconsistencies currently found in the methods by which various email service providers and agencies measure email marketing key performance indicators such as deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, click-to-open ratios, and conversion rates.
Justin Foster, WhatCounts' Vice President of Professional Services, will be a founding member of this group comprised of other industry thought leaders and marketing professionals familiar with the challenges brought forth by the lack of measurement consistency in the email marketing industry. "I am very encouraged by the formation of this group," said Foster. "This issue has been one that has needed attention for some time. David Daniels' commitment to standardizing the measurement of relevant KPI's for our business is a testament to his expertise and dedication to the email marketing industry."
Participation in this coalition reinforces WhatCounts' market focus. "At WhatCounts we aim to provide the best possible service offering for marketers who want to effectively use e-communication channels to improve customer loyalty and maximize ROI," said president and CEO, David Geller. "Consistency in measurement will enable email marketers to intelligently benchmark their programs against the best practices of their counterparts."
