NewBeauty Magazine Website, NewBeauty.com, Named 2007 SoFIE Awards Finalist
Sandow Media, publishers of NewBeauty Magazine, is being recognized by the 2007 SoFIE Awards for its interactive site development making NewBeauty.com an online portal for beauty products and news.
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2007 -- Sandow Media, a publishing and media company, was recently announced as a finalist in the 2nd Annual South Florida Interactive Excellence Awards for their interactive site development for NewBeauty.com.
The South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA) announced last week that Sandow Media was selected as one of the finalists for this year's South Florida Interactive Excellence Awards. All participants will be honored, and the winners will be announced at the awards gala to be held on Friday, April 20, 2007, at the Diplomat Country Club and Resort in Hallandale Beach, Florida.
Sandow Media was selected in the "Most Effective Technology, Telecommunications, Business Products or Services Campaign or Site" category for their beauty magazine website.
"We publish the world-class beauty magazine NewBeauty and wanted to create a companion website to extend the user experience beyond the printed page to online," said Jerry Mica, Senior Interactive Creative Director at Sandow Media. "The idea behind our interactive site development of NewBeauty.com was to provide our users with a truly unique brand-content experience and to create a platform for us to publish related and timely content for our users."
In their interactive site development campaign, Sandow Media transformed NewBeauty.com into an online gateway for beauty product and cosmetic surgery information. Within their campaign, they launched DailyBeauty, NewBeauty's blog, integrated with content including editorial, imagery, video and custom templates. The campaign launched in December 2006.
