UniteU™ Announces New Software Release

Ecommerce Solution Provider adds new features that increase online conversions.

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) April 18, 2007 -- Ecommerce solution provider, UniteU Technologies, Inc., today announced it has enhanced its Connected Commerce® eStore platform to include a number of new capabilities.

"Our goal is to provide our customers with innovative ways to merchandise products online as well as to reduce the cost of ecommerce operations," reports Rebecca Ramme, UniteU VP of Business Development. "Our customers are always looking for ways to grow their online channel and many of them offer thousands of products on their UniteU eStore. This can be overwhelming to the browsing shopper. The eStore must quickly engage the shopper and make it easy for them to find what they are looking for and then there must be enticements to buy. Finally, a friendly checkout process is needed. This release includes enhanced rich imaging, improved search, product reviews, Google checkout and stored-value gift cards."

In addition to the numerous features that will be deployed on the website front-end, there are added security and performance improvements as well, including access to the Akamai Dynamic Content delivery system, CISP compliance and an expanded security encryption layer. In the shipping area, USPS rate calculation has been added and there is a new ship rate estimator.

"On our customer's sites we want to provide relevant information to the shopper and instill confidence to help them make an informed buying decision," continues Ramme. "These new capabilities, combined with our current feature set and our recently released streamlined checkout process, all come together to increase site conversions which is one of the top goals for all of our merchants."

After a beta program involving several customers of various sizes and industries, this new software version (4.94) will soon be made available to all UniteU customers. At their User Conference in Chicago this week UniteU (www.uniteu.com) will be providing training and then customers will be upgraded in "waves" with each site receiving full quality assurance to insure success and no downtime in the process.
