It is also the first time in history that the Jagatguru title was given to two living gurus from the same lineage (Satuwa Baba and H.H. Sai Maa). Her Holiness will be in Vail, Colorado for a week-long workshop this Spring, April 29th through May 6th, entitled "The Power of the Passionate Soul."

Satuwa Baba was quoted as saying, "Today the world is passing through a critical spiritual phase. In this regard, by making a lady a Jagatguru we have shown a broadness of mind of the Indian culture and Sanatana Dharma. I am very proud of my disciple Atmiji (H.H. Sai Maa) for her devotion, dedication and seva (selfless service) in the religious, cultural and social domains."

This honor is a milestone event, a moment in history, where antiquated traditions and systems are under going transformation, allowing for greater equality and balance. This event provides inspiration to women, and many others around the world. The President of the 13th Akhara Parishad, Shri Mahant Shri Gyan Dasji said after a sacred ceremony called a Pooja, "We are opening the door to celebrating the practice of equality in India." President of All India Four Cult, Shri Mahant Ram Lakhen Dasji, added, "To award this title to a lady is not a simple event for Sanatana Dharma. It is a kind of Renaissance - the Saint Society should move ahead in the same light."
