Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 19, 2007
MC Strategies, Inc., a leader in e-learning solutions for healthcare professionals, today announced it will deliver a new, online emergency nursing orientation course that has been developed by Mosby/Elsevier in collaboration with the Emergency Nurses Association.
The Emergency Nursing Orientation Online Course, based on Sheehy's Emergency Nursing: Principles and Practice, 5th edition, is targeted to nurses new to the emergency department, as well as to those with experience, for orientation and continuing education.
This course is a blended-learning program consisting of 42 online modules with corresponding textbook assignments and multimedia elements, such as animations and video clips. Interactive activities include line matching, fill-in-the-blank, true/false and case studies with multiple choice questions to help learners engage with the content while testing their knowledge.
"Emergency Nursing Orientation will help nurses meet their clinical and professional education needs, filling in gaps in their knowledge," says Cindy Tryniszewski, RN, MSN, Director, Nursing e-Learning, MC Strategies. "Plus, drawing on MC Strategies' e-learning experience to deliver ENA's quality content in a self-study learning environment is a win-win solution for nurses who need this information."
