The blog will allow us to interact with our customers in a very relaxed way, and hopefully give them a glimpse inside of our daily operations. We have a great deal of fun here, and we want to be able to share that with our customers, which is not as easy on our regular ecommerce site.
Fairfield, OH (PRWEB) April 24, 2007
In April 2007, Carson launched its new blog site that will give its customers a view inside the company that works with Hershey's® chocolate all day long. Sharon Frederick, President of Marketing , and her team have worked hard to make the blog site fun and informative, including articles from various company departments and employees as well. "The blog will allow us to interact with our customers in a very relaxed way, and hopefully give them a glimpse inside of our daily operations. We have a great deal of fun here, and we want to be able to share that with our customers, which is not as easy on our regular ecommerce site." http://www.wrappedhersheys.com.
Some of the articles that will be occurring regularly are written not only by Sharon, but also by her partner and husband, Scott Frederick, called CEO 101 and Vice President of Sales and Customer Service manager, Michelle Beal, called At your Service. The Frederick family children even get into the act, which you can see under the link, Mini Wrappers.
Bob Jeffries, in the shipping department writes about exotic places he ships orders to in Location, Location, Carson documents some of its charitable efforts and giving in Out on the Town, and you can learn about the latest Carson chocolate gifts and design creations, relevant to the season in Show and Tell.
Carson Wrapped Hershey's® was established in 1993, when Edward Carson was looking for a creative way to celebrate the birth of his granddaughter, Elise. Instead of passing out cigars, he created pink candy wrappers to put around Hershey's chocolate bars. It proclaimed, "HERESHEIS®," in large type. Elise's name and weight appeared in small print on the front, and other vital statistics, including the date and time of her arrival and her parents' names, were on the back.
The product line has expanded to include personalized candy bars and favors for all occasions birth, wedding, birthdays, anniversaries, religious events, corporate promotions, etc. Carson has its own graphic design team that can help customers create unique wrappers, limited only by their own imagination.
Carson is licensed by Hershey® Chocolate and Confectionary Corporation, and is a member of several Chambers of Commerce and community organizations, as well as the Better Business Bureau and the Direct Marketing Association. Carson employs 25 full time team members and several part time members, just north of Cincinnati, Ohio.
