SOLD! is about using proven, profitable direct marketing techniques to develop and grow relationships with people … hundreds, even thousands of people, each of whom will buy and sell two, three, four or more homes in their lifetimes
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) April 24, 2007
In response to the needs of professionals from one of the state's leading industries, The Florida Direct Marketing Association (FDMA) is offering a half-day seminar designed especially for real estate professionals. "SOLD! Direct Marketing for the Real Estate Pro" will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Westin Hotel on Cypress Creek Road and I-95 in Fort Lauderdale from 9:00 a.m. until noon. The event is open to the public. Registration is $199 prior to May 25th, or $249 May 26th or later. Attendees can register online at http://www.fdma.org.
International direct marketing expert Lois K. Geller, President of Mason & Geller based in Hollywood FL, will lead the half-day seminar for real estate agents who want to grow their business with direct mail. Based on her recent book by the same name, attendees will learn first-hand how to establish themselves as trustworthy real estate agents whom buyers or sellers can turn to with confidence when they need help with a real estate transaction. Every attendee will receive a free copy of Ms. Geller's book "SOLD! Direct Marketing for the Real Estate Pro." Moreover, Mason & Geller's Art Director and Creative Strategist will be in attendance and participating in interactive creative development sessions by providing hands-on design guidance and suggestions for improvement to direct marketing communications.
"SOLD! is about using proven, profitable direct marketing techniques to develop and grow relationships with people … hundreds, even thousands of people, each of whom will buy and sell two, three, four or more homes in their lifetimes," said Lois Geller. "Real estate agents all over the country are writing me to share real estate success stories based on the direct marketing principles they learned from this book."
A highlight of the seminar is the opportunity for real estate professionals to receive a critique of and recommendations for improvement on their current direct response marketing campaigns, whether direct mail, email, or print advertising. Attendees are encouraged to bring samples of their direct marketing advertisements and/or mail campaigns to the seminar and will have ample opportunity to receive professional advice and critique for improving their efforts.
"Real estate agents who attend will learn direct marketing best practices designed to help them generate more listings and attract more buyers," said Keith Fletcher, FDMA President. "We are pleased to share the powerful secrets of direct response marketing with South Florida's real estate community."
"SOLD! Direct Marketing for the Real Estate Pro" is the fourth in the FDMA's direct marketing professional education series launched earlier this year. The seminar series, which has already included events on search and email marketing, now continues with a focus on direct mail and in future months may include instruction on specific specialties within direct marketing, such as creative development or database management.
