Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) April 25, 2007
Rebate Real Estate is now offering a 50% commission rebate to home buyers and sellers in the metropolitan Indianapolis area.
Rebate Real Estate is not a "discount firm" that offers its clients a rebate but provides little or no services to the buyers and sellers: they are full service brokerage that are involved in every aspect of the transaction. Rebate Real Estate's broker/owner Michael Taylor of Indianapolis says "Rebate Real Estate is committed to providing superior customer service to our clients, not only will we bring a rebate check for several thousand dollars to closing, but we want to be the best Realtor you have ever worked with."
In their commitment to customer service and despite the 50% commission rebate, Rebate Real Estate acts like any other traditional broker would; providing all the services for buyers and sellers. For buyers this includes: searching homes and showing houses of interest, negotiating and preparing the contract, helping secure financing, scheduling inspections, and bringing the home to closing. For sellers their services include: yard signs, lock boxes, online advertising, print advertising, virtual tours, direct mail, open houses, and weekly follow up calls.
People selling their homes typically pay between 6%-7% of the purchase price as a real estate commission. This is then split between the seller's broker and the buyer's broker. On a $200,000 home with a 3.5% split for the buyer's Realtor, Rebate Real Estate would earn $7,000 and pay 50% of that, or $3,500, as a rebate to the buyer at closing. The rebate is valid for both existing homes and new homes.
Rebate Real Estate also offers the 50% rebate to home sellers and can a list a house in the Indianapolis MLS for as little as 4.5%. The idea is the exact same as it is for the buyers: they offer a 50% commission rebate on their side of the real estate transaction. They will list a house in the MLS and offer other Realtors a full co-op fee of 3%-3.5%, their fee is typically 1.5% of the purchase price. Hence, most homes can be listed with Rebate Real Estate for a 4.5%-5% commission.
Rebate Real Estate has also launched a new website that allows users to search the Indianapolis MLS for Indianapolis real estate. The website also offers its users the ability search by map, search by city, search by subdivision, save favorites, and create a "search saver" that will automatically email you when a new listing with your criteria becomes available. The website also features community profiles and post useful information about different suburbs of Indianapolis like Carmel Real Estate and Fishers Real Estate.
