Dynamic Imaging Launches New SIIM-affiliated User Group; First Meeting at SIIM 2007.

Our customers expect outstanding products and services from Dynamic Imaging and DIAMOND is no exception. SIIM’s demonstrated expertise in administering user groups sets the standard in our industry, so partnering with them to create DIAMOND was a natural choice for us.

Dynamic Imaging (http://www.dynamic-imaging.com), an established leader in Web-based image and information management, today announced the launch of its much anticipated user group as a growing number of U.S. and international hospitals, imaging centers and radiology groups adopt its top-rated IntegradWeb® PACS.

Dynamic Imaging Associated Members Organized for Networking & Discussion (DIAMOND) gives PACS administrators, information technology directors, and technologically-savvy radiologists the opportunity to network, share information and communicate best practices. DIAMOND also enables Dynamic Imaging to receive enhancement requests and general feedback with the consensus of a large group of IntegradWeb PACS users.

Dynamic Imaging joins other prominent PACS vendors in selecting the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM—formerly SCAR) to administer its user group. Dynamic Imaging will pay its customers’ DIAMOND membership fees for the first year, excluding travel and expenses related to DIAMOND meetings.

“With Dynamic Imaging’s large customer base, we needed to create a mechanism for IntegradWeb PACS users to share information effectively and conveniently,” said Brad Levin, Dynamic Imaging’s vice president of marketing. “Our customers expect outstanding products and services from Dynamic Imaging and DIAMOND is no exception. SIIM’s demonstrated expertise in administering user groups sets the standard in our industry, so partnering with them to create DIAMOND was a natural choice for us.”

John Griffith, CRA, has been named DIAMOND’s inaugural chairman. The chief information officer of Epic Imaging in Portland, Oregon, Griffith is a seasoned imaging expert, author, and speaker who has managed three PACS, worked with several user groups, and implemented numerous clinical integrations to IntegradWeb PACS.

"This is an exciting time of growth for Dynamic Imaging. Having an active user group is the next step in promoting continued product development and feedback to ensure future releases meet the demanding requirements of radiologists, IT directors, and the healthcare community in general,” Griffith said. “Unlike some vendors, I feel Dynamic Imaging is prepared to utilize the results of the user group meetings to add innovative product enhancements, keeping IntegradWeb PACS at the top of the image and information management market. I am honored to be appointed chairman, and I am looking forward to a great inaugural year of DIAMOND."

DIAMOND members will communicate peer-to-peer through an e-mail listserve and will have access to materials and upcoming meeting information via a dedicated website.

In addition, DIAMOND will host two annual face-to-face meetings. The first all-day DIAMOND meeting is planned for June 6, 2007, the day prior to the 2007 SIIM Annual Conference (June 7-10, 2007) in Providence, Rhode Island. The agenda includes a full day of education, business and networking topics. A multidisciplinary team of Dynamic Imaging executives will be on hand to address any issues of interest to users. Following the all-day meeting, Dynamic Imaging will host DIAMOND members at a local restaurant and nightclub for a casual evening of food and drinks. Later in the year, DIAMOND will hold a business luncheon at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting, November 25-30, 2007, in Chicago, Illinois.

SIIM is distributing DIAMOND membership applications to all domestic and global Dynamic Imaging customers. Completion of the membership application is required for organizational membership to DIAMOND. While participation in the annual DIAMOND meeting at SIIM is encouraged, DIAMOND membership is not contingent upon Dynamic Imaging customers attending the event.
