San José, CA (PRWEB) April 25, 2007 -- Glasses will be raised at Renegade Theatre Experiment's FundRAZOR 2007 on May 19th at 4:00 pm at Vino Locale in Palo Alto. The evening of wine tasting, silent and live auctions, and preview performances of Renegade's 6th season will directly benefit the South Bay's voice for Alternative Theatre.

This annual fundraising event is one of the most important benefits for Renegade Theatre Experiment, an IRS 501(c)(3) Exempt Organization and a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation. "Because ticket sales only account for 40% of the revenue needed to ensure quality RTE productions, fundraising is critical to our success," said RTE's Artistic Director, Sean C. Murphy.

The wine tasting portion of the event will feature a delicious sampling of gourmet appetizers perfectly paired with the menu of premiere Bay Area wines being served. The event will take place at Vino Locale, a unique European style Wine Bar located in a historic Victorian house and garden in downtown Palo Alto. Vino Locale was featured in California Wine Country, a carefully researched and highly selective guide to California's most popular and newsworthy wine regions by Sunset.

Several outstanding artists from Renegade Theatre Experiment's will perform vignettes from Renegade's upcoming season. This includes highlights from NOAH JOHNSON…, AMERICANA ABSURDUM, WILEY AND THE HAIRY MAN, and THIS IS HOW IT GOES. Emceeing the event will be none other than renowned professional actor and star of RTE's THIS IS HOW IT GOES, Aldo Billingslea.

The live and silent auctions promise to be tantalizing with amazing gourmet dinners, some very special bottles of wine, memberships to some of the most prestigious Bay Area museums, and much, much more!
