Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 26, 2007
Dallas-based Moroch Partners added seven more creative awards to its trophy case for work done for McDonald's, DFW International Airport, Monster.com and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Following up its success in the Dallas ADDY® Awards competition, two creative pieces will advance to the national ADDY competition after winning at the District 10 ADDY Awards Competition. Sleep Sliding, created for McDonald's, took Gold in the "Regional/National TV, single spots, Consumer Outlets, Restaurant" category while Cargo Palette Mailer, a 3-D piece created for DFW International Airport, won a Silver ADDY. Rounding out the ADDY awards, Foot in the Door, created for Monster.com, claimed Bronze ADDYs in the "Web Sites, Consumer, Flash-Based" and the "Online, Online Games" categories while McDonald's Sharkbait won another Bronze ADDY.
In the Telly awards, Moroch's Wish Night '06 video for the Dallas Make-A-Wish Foundation earned a Bronze Telly in the Charitable Not-for-Profit category. The video, which was shown during the 2006 "Wish Night" charity event, was used to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. 2006 marked the 10th anniversary of "Wish Night", so the video featured "Wish Kids" and their families, and the difference Make-A-Wish has made in their lives. The video was used as a centerpiece of the evening and was instrumental in helping raise over one million dollars that evening.
Moroch's campaign for McDonald's McRib Farewell Tour II, received an Official Honoree distinction by the Webby Awards for the Rich Media Advertising: Promotional category. The distinction goes to work that scored in the top 15 percent of all work entered, and over 8,000 entries from more than 60 countries were received this year.
"We're thrilled to have been honored for the second year-in-a-row by both the Telly Awards and Webby Awards, as well as winning regionally at the ADDY's," said Tom Moroch, founder and chairman of Moroch Partners. "We continue to challenge ourselves creatively, and this shows that we're meeting those challenges. The awards our full-service agency is continuing to win, especially in the interactive arena, continue to prove our strength in a discipline often dominated by boutique, interactive-focused agencies."
