C&B Consulting to Conduct 9th Annual Benefit Plan Benchmarking Survey

C&B Consulting is conducting its 9th annual benefits benchmarking survey which compiles regional data on practical benefits-related topics.

In past years, employers have found it useful in measuring the success of their own benefit plans, as well as discovering new strategies that may enhance their current benefit programs.

C&B Consulting Group, a strategically focused employee benefits services firm, today announced the release of their 2007 Benefit Plan Survey, a questionnaire that compiles regional benefit plan benchmarking data.

Each year, C&B Consulting conducts a benchmarking survey to gain insightful data on practical benefits-related topics such as cost control strategies, employee contributions, employee communication methodologies, wellness initiatives and others. Once survey results from the questionnaire are compiled and analyzed, C&B publishes their Benefit Plan Report, which is typically available by mid-summer.

C&B’s Benefit Plan Report, designed for employers as a useful benchmarking tool, allows human resources and financial professionals to compare their benefit program components against survey data from anonymous organizations within the same region. Industry-specific reports are also produced to provide employers with a more comprehensive report.

“Our Benefit Plan Report is a great benchmarking resource for regional organizations that are looking to attract, motivate and retain talented workforces from the same local employee pool,” stated James Buonfiglio, President of C&B Consulting Group. “In past years, employers have found it useful in measuring the success of their own benefit plans, as well as discovering new strategies that may enhance their current benefit programs.”

Last year’s Benefit Plan Report was compiled from the survey responses of over 350 employers from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and eastern Pennsylvania. Collectively, these organizations employed over 118,000 people with an average group size of 355 employees.
