The Medici Vineyards' 2001 Block I,II Pinot Noir, a complex and balanced wine with berry notes and a touch of earthiness, will be paired with a firm dark chocolate ganache containing raspberries and a reduction of the same wine. The Ferraro Cellar's 2004 Hillside Vineyard Columbia Valley Merlot, a balanced, full-bodied wine with hints of plum and soft tannins, will be paired with a plum-merlot reduction dark chocolate ganache.
While tasting wine and chocolates, visitors will be able to enjoy the artwork of John Fisher, an experienced fine artist and graphic designer whose dramatic landscapes and use of light and color are heavily influenced by the volatile Pacific Northwest weather.
