In May, Everest Poker is offering players additional incentives for referring their friends to the online poker room. In addition to the $50 bonus for each friend, Everest Poker will offer tournament tokens to players who refer 3 or 8 friends.

Everest Poker http://www.everestpoker.com today announced that it was giving its players something extra in the month of May. Players who refer 3 friends to Everest Poker will get a Gold Token good for entrance into any tournament featuring a $100+9 buy-in. Players who refer 8 friends will also get a token giving them free entry into an Avalanche Round 3 tournament -- a $560 value.

"We wanted to make May a month to remember for our dedicated players who refer their friends to us," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "By offering an incentive like this, we're giving them the opportunity to enter one of our poker tournaments for free and potentially walk away with a huge prize."

Spanning nine months, the Everest Poker Avalanche is a guaranteed $1,000,000 tournament that involves both online play as well as live poker games, culminating in a live poker finale in an undisclosed location. The Avalanche Token given to players who refer 8 of their friends buys the referring player entrance into a $530+30 Round 3 event.

"Potentially, a player could refer eight friends to Everest Poker and find themselves at the final live table playing for a million dollars," added May.

The May Refer-a-Friend promotion will run from 00:00 GMT on May 1, 2007 and run through 23:59 on May 31, 2007.
