Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau is bringing back its popular Dorney Deals travel package program for 2007.

Over the years, families that visit Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pa. have quickly learned that the best way to fully experience both parks is to stay overnight, thereby allowing them to tackle a different park each day.

With that in mind, Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau is bringing back its popular Dorney Deals travel package program for 2007. Thirty-two Lehigh Valley hotels offer park guests overnight accommodations along with discounts on tickets to the northeast’s most complete entertainment experience.

Dorney Deals accommodations can be booked on-line at http://www.dorneydeals.com or by calling a participating hotel. Hotel brands include Best Western, Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn & Suites, Wingate Inn, Four Points by Sheraton, Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn, among others. A complete list of participating hotels can be also found on the web site.

New this season is the AquaRacer ride at Wildwater Kingdom. This 300-foot long, six-lane mat racing ride allows friends to challenge each other to the finish line in a wet and fast ride. The addition of AquaRacer brings the total number of water slides in Wildwater Kingdom to a record 22 in addition to three aquatic playlands for children, a water funhouse, two wave pools, two tubing rivers and other water activities.

Dorney Park is home to eight world-class roller coasters including Hydra The Revenge, the first and only floorless coaster in Pennsylvania. The park’s other thrill rides include Thunder Creek Mountain, White Water Landing, Revolution, Dominator, Wave Swinger and many more. Families looking for a slightly slower pace enjoy riding the antique carousel, Ferris wheel and Zephyr miniature train as well as playing around at Camp Snoopy and Tot Spot.

Dorney Park opens for the season on Saturday, May 5 for weekends only. Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom both open daily beginning Saturday, May 26. Admission includes access to both parks.

Dorney Deals packages are available May 26 through September 3, 2007. Rates are based on availability and are not good with any other offer. For complete details on Dorney Deals packages or to request a program brochure, visit http://www.dorneydeals.com.
