2007 Collage Machine one of Protozone exploratory and fun interactive program experiences has received two awards this year. Developed from a web interactive featured on the National Gallery of Arts web site - NGA Kids ProtoZone has expanded the program adding the ability to import pictures, more images, different print functions plus many others.
Collage Machine received the Editors Choice Award February 2007 from Childrens Technology Review in which they stated; "Our testers found the software to be easy-to-use, noting it could be useful for adding some spice to a school assignment or just to be creative with personal pictures". One of the distinguishing features the program is the unique kid friendly interface. Anywhere a child clicks, something magical happens. Instructions, although contained within the programs, are mostly unnecessary. Kids are creating their own masterpieces in minutes.
The program enables children to explore their own creativity in a different way, having FUN and learning about ART, SCIENCE and MATH.
Collage Machine released just 5 of months ago also received a Parents' Choice Silver Honor Award for spring 2007 and is described as "this little disk that could". The CD comes fully loaded with a library of more than 500 images, plus importing pictures is a snap and with the click of a button, the collage is turned into an animation, sure to rouse a chorus of oohs and ahhs.
