BlogHer LLC, the Web's number-one guide to women bloggers, today announced that registration is officially open for BlogHer Conference '07: A World of Difference. This event offers bloggers and those interested in blogging a rare opportunity to engage, network with, and benefit from the collective wisdom of the BlogHer community.
BlogHer conferences feature an interactive format designed to inspire conversation, and connections. "In 2007, we continue our tradition of hosting a conference that this diverse community has built," says Elisa Camahort, BlogHer Co-founder and President, Events & Marketing. "BlogHer '07 is a hands-on learning and networking opportunity, designed to help new and experienced bloggers leverage technology to follow their passions and gain additional exposure for their blogs and expertise."
The BlogHer Conference is made possible in part by its participating sponsors. In addition to supporting the general conference, this year's Platinum Sponsor, GM, and Gold Sponsors, Yahoo!, Google, and Dove will be enhancing the attendee experience by hosting parties, sessions and an Internet café - free to registered attendees.
"The number of companies interested in supporting the BlogHer Community continues to grow, enabling this to be a content-rich, yet affordable event for our attendees," says Jory Des Jardins, BlogHer Co-founder and President, Business Development & Alliances. "We are gratified to have the support of these fine national brands."
BlogHer '07 will take place at the Navy Pier in Chicago on July 27 and 28. The event will include general sessions as well as break-out tracks across a range of topics. On July 29, BlogHer will moderate a "BlogHer Open Space" event at the Chicago City Centre, where attendees will create the agenda on site in real time.
