The ranch is the perfect filming solution
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) April 30, 2007
Soboba Movie Ranch, a unique filming location in LA near Riverside County, recently completed a major softball / baseball complex to add to its growing sporting facilities. The new complex is a fully lighted state-of-the-art facility with parking, stands, snack bars and restrooms. The central feature of the complex is four softball fields that meet the NCAA Women's specifications. Additionally there is a Professional baseball field complete with regulation pitcher's mound and 90-foot base paths. The infields are crushed brick clay and the outfields are a sparkling green artificial turf. Each field has massive electronic scoreboards.
According to FilmStew.com Chairman, John Culton, "If a film has a sports theme, we can probably accommodate it. Currently we have a championship golf course, boxing facilities, cage fighting, an all purpose arena, a regulation football field with home and visitor stands; plus unbelievable softball and baseball facilities." FilmStew.com handles marketing and promotion for the Soboba Movie Ranch.
Soboba Movie Ranch is part of The Oaks Retreat and Conference Center. The Ranch can accommodate day filming or extended shooting schedules, and can provide room and board and craft services.
"The ranch is the perfect filming solution," Culton says. "It's owned by the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians. There is no permit red tape. Soboba Casino and Soboba Springs Country Club are adjacent. The facilities, the vistas, and the topography are very diverse. Recently the Los Angeles Avengers used the movie ranch most of February for their training camp. The ranch is very flexible with its facilities and services. Just tell us what you need."
The Soboba Movie Ranch is located in a quaint canyon at the base of Mt. San Jacinto and adjacent to the Cities of San Jacinto and Hemet. The ranch has over night accommodations and can comfortably house approximately 50 guests should the filmmaker need to keep a crew close by. The Soboba ranch staff can custom tailor food service needs, from cafeteria style to traditional craft services to outdoor dining and BBQs. Visit http://www.sobobaranch.com.
