Morton Meyerson, Alsbridge client to offer thought leadership for world-class outsourcing

During this session delegates will develop an understanding of the role, elements and value of a sourcing strategy in the overall sourcing relationship lifecycle

Alsbridge Chairman Morton Meyerson will lead a panel discussion at the annual Sourcing Interests Group conference in Tucson on May 1-4. The panel will provide for the discussion of how the outsourcing industry has evolved, the major characteristics of the many aspects of outsourcing today, and how customers and providers can position themselves to maximize future benefits. Ben Trowbridge, CEO of Alsbridge, will also be presenting during the event.

Trowbridge's workshop is intended for those who are developing their sourcing strategies and techniques for outsourcing products and services, as well as those with greater experience, whose companies are in the initial years of planning and rolling out a new outsourcing program office.

"During this session delegates will develop an understanding of the role, elements and value of a sourcing strategy in the overall sourcing relationship lifecycle," says Trowbridge.

Alsbridge is also a sponsor of The Conference Board's Strategic Outsourcing Conference on May 3-4 in New York. One of the Firm's key clients will give a presentation on its outsourcing strategy and how Alsbridge supported the effort. The sessions during this conference -- presented by the world's foremost outsourcing and offshoring authorities -- will provide immediately actionable, "how-to" blueprints on how to attain and maintain success at all points along the process transformation continuum.

About The Sourcing Interest Group

The Sourcing Interests Group assists members in learning from each other's experiences in outsourcing, alliances, procurement, E-Commerce and shared services. SIG's over 160 members include 25 of the Fortune 100 and 47 Global 500 companies and is acknowledged by many as the world leader in providing ongoing forums and supporting services that assist companies in the sourcing of goods and services and the outsourcing of information technology and business processes. Services offered by SIG center on the active sharing of non-competitive information and practices among members, and are provided in environments conducive to learning and to relationship building. To foster this, SIG provides its services exclusively as part of its member benefits package, rather than selling its services "ala carte" to the business community at large. Sourcing Interests Group services have enabled members to evaluate, implement and operate sourcing initiatives easier and faster, while assisting in the containment of expenses and helping to manage risks.
