Unlike print materials, DVD/videos, or web-based text, these tools allow survivors to weed out irrelevant information while building practical "to-do lists" for immediate action. For example, in the Fatigue & Chemobrain tool, a survivor will find twelve possible contributing factors. She might select "Change in Hormones" or "Difficulty Sleeping" to explore further and then build a printable list of suggestions to discuss with her doctor or to implement herself.
All educational content was reviewed by medical experts during creation and before publication. The title represents the only CD-ROM that focuses on the physical and psychosocial recovery of women with breast cancer. It is available to consumers through www.healthmarkmultimedia.com for $19.95.
