Pacific Swimming Selects ShareMethods

ShareMethods powers access for collaborative document management and fund raising outreach for a leading non-profit organization.

ShareMethods ( today announced the selection of its on-demand service by Pacific Swimming for a deployment by its non-profit organization. With most documents and work processes handled informally today via email, many organizations now find they need a better way. ShareMethods delivers an improved solution via Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to securely manage, share, and distribute sales, marketing, and support materials. Content such as sales presentations, proposals, marketing collateral, support information, and partner documents can be easily posted and accessed on a worldwide basis. The announcement for the selection of ShareMethods by Pacific Swimming was made today at the Red Herring Spring 2007 Conference: Ten Years of Innovation and Disruption.

Pacific Swimming needed a centralized document library which could be accessed by its team members and volunteer workforce which is distributed across multiple cities and states in the US. There was a requirement to tightly link Pacific Swimming's CRM solution into an advanced document management service which could be accessed quickly and easily by team members on a 24 x 7 basis via a web browser interface. Pacific Swimming needed a tool to support collaborative development of its annual swim guide and to support document management requirements for its mission critical outreach efforts.

Pacific Swimming deployed ShareNow for AppExchange to provide advanced document management and collaboration services on-demand to its distributed volunteer workforce. A combined solution of and ShareNow for AppExchange was used by Pacific Swimming enabling an enterprise mash-up of CRM and document management on-demand. The solution was deployed to team members distributed across California and Nevada. ShareMethods provided free licenses and support services to enable the ShareNow for AppExchange deployment.
