In support of Sacramento's West Nile Virus and Mosquito Awareness Week, Halls Window Center offers discounted rates on its new TruScene insect screens.

In light of Sacramento's West Nile Virus and Mosquito Awareness Week (April 23-29), local replacement windows company Halls Window Center (http://www.hallswindowcenter.com) is running a $30 per screen discount on its new TruScene window screen products, designed with smaller mesh to keep insects out.

"Many people think that we don't have to worry about West Nile Virus here in Sacramento, but that's not the case. Though Mosquito Awareness Week lasts only from the 23rd through the 29th, we're going to continue offering the discounted rates on TruScene screens throughout the summer to encourage our neighbors here in Sacramento to protect themselves and their families," says Bob Grandinetti, owner of Halls Window Center.

The new TruScene insect screens are designed specifically for the Renewal by Andersen window line. The screens will not only benefit new Andersen replacement window customers, but also those who have had their windows replaced by Halls in the past.

TruScene's nearly invisible micro-fine stainless steel mesh creates a barrier for even the smallest of insects. Further, because the stainless steel mesh is approximately one-third the diameter of standard insect screen mesh, TruScene screens are nearly invisible to the eye.

"Many of our replacement window customers have told us that they actually removed the insect screens from their windows in order to better enjoy their new windows. Once the new windows are installed, the dinginess of the old standard screens does become much more apparent. We don't recommend keeping screens off this summer in light of the mosquito problem and are very thankful to have this new product to offer as solution for our friends and customers," says Grandinetti.

Other events taking place during the city's West Nile Virus and Mosquito Awareness Week included repellent distribution, a volunteer day, a "Fight the Bite" comic strip contest, a blood drive campaign, and a fight the bite teacher workshop.

To take advantage of the TruScene discount offer, home owners with Renewal by Andersen windows can print the coupon directly from the company's website at http://www.hallswindowcenter.com/site/TruSceneCoupon%20$30.pdf or can obtain a pre-printed coupon at the Halls Window Center showroom in Sacramento.

About Halls Window Center: Halls Window Center takes great pride in its contribution to the Sacramento area over the years and believes in transparency of business operations. Sacramento residents can also use the company website to locate detailed maps of homes throughout Sacramento that have chosen Halls as their Sacramento window replacement company.
