Traverse City, MI (Vocus/PRWEB ) May 1, 2007 -- Online Marketing Leader Oneupweb's "One for the Money" podcast series takes an old-time radio approach to educating potential clients. The series premiered this week on iTunes and other leading podcast portals. The first episode, "The Dirty Little Secret," can also be found at www.oneupweb.com and www.podgarden.com.

Online Marketing Leader Oneupweb's "One for the Money" podcast series takes an old-time radio approach to educating potential clients. The series premiered this week on iTunes and other leading podcast portals. The first episode, "The Dirty Little Secret," can also be found at www.oneupweb.com and www.podgarden.com."I've always enjoyed the imaginative "theatre of the mind" nature of radio," says Oneupweb President Lisa Wehr. "So in our new podcast series we've decided to create our own little drama series to educate the business community about online marketing." That podcast series, entitled One for the Money, premiered this week on iTunes and other leading podcast portals. The first episode, The Dirty Little Secret, can also be found at http://www.oneupweb.com and http://www.podgarden.com.

The new podcast series has all the elements of vintage 1940's radio dramas - melodramatic organ music, histrionic announcers, sound effects, winding plots and some very identifiable characters. Each episode is based on some real situations encountered by Oneupweb and its clients.

"It's a much more entertaining way to present some otherwise dry information," says Wehr. "The stories are engaging, the podcast production values are first rate, and the acting … well, we had fun."

At the end of each drama, Oneupweb CEO Lisa Wehr and Business Development Director Tim Kauffold will spend time reflecting on the lessons learned in these experiences and what they can mean for an online marketer. A number of free relevant resources have been compiled specifically for the episodes listeners wanting to be more about the subject.

Oneupweb is the only major integrated online marketing firm offering a full range of podcast production, publication and tracking services. With its business firmly rooted in search marketing, it was no wonder that the Oneupweb chose a natural search engine optimization scenario for its first production.

"The company was built on search marketing," says Wehr. "We've been at it longer that most search engines have been in business. It was a natural place to start."

The medium may be the message and the message may be an important one, but the Oneupweb acting troupe promises not to take itself too seriously. "We use professional talent for our client podcasts," notes Lisa Wehr, "but this is an opportunity for our staff to have some fun and take a step back into yesteryear. We hope people will enjoy taking the trip with us."
