Wikia's Marvel Database Project surpasses 20,000 article mark, making it the largest online reference of information related to Marvel Comics

Driven by his childhood love for comic books, Jamie Hari, founder and editor-in-chief of the Marvel Database Project, launched the site in March of 2005 and collected and categorized the first 1,500 articles himself! "We started the site because there was really nothing else like it out there and we knew that people like us had the knowledge necessary to build out the ultimate reference database," said Hari. "After only 2 years, we have over 20,000 articles, which is more than eight times the number of articles on Marvel.com, making The Marvel Database project a great resource for the more than 5,000 people who visit the site each day."
