Silicon Valley startup Dash Navigation today announced that it has been recognized for its innovative approach to automotive navigation by Red Herring and LAPTOP magazines. Dash was named one of the top 100 private companies in North America by Red Herring. LAPTOP Magazine selected Dash as one of just five Mobile Mavericks. The company's first product, the Dash Express, is the first Internet-connected GPS device.
