ProductCart Shopping Cart Software is Now PayPal Certified
ProductCart shopping cart software now includes an updated and certified integration with PayPal. ProductCart is a PayPal shopping cart, which means that merchants using ProductCart for selling online can easily activate the following payment options: PayPal Website Standard, Website Payments Pro, Express Checkout, and the PayFlow payment gateway.
Mission Viejo, CA (PRWEB) May 2, 2007 -- Early Impact, an ecommerce software development company, announced that its ProductCart line of shopping cart software has been integrated with all payment options provided by PayPal. PayPal has certified the integration in April of 2007.
With the purchase of the PayFlow suite of payment solutions from VeriSign, PayPal now provides several different payment options for online merchants. All of them are now readily available to ProductCart users through the user-friendly ProductCart Control Panel.
Users of Early Impact's popular shopping carts can easily enable one or more of the following payment options offered by PayPal:
- PayPal Standard
Customers pay on the PayPal Web site and then return to the ProductCart-powered store.
- PayPal Website Payments Pro (Direct Payments)
Customers pay directly on your ProductCart-powered store, using a credit card.
- PayPal Website Payments Pro (Express Checkout)
An alternative checkout process that allows customer to use one account to checkout on different stores.
- PayPal PayFlow Pro
A robust payment gateway for stores that process a large number of orders.
- PayPal PayFlow Link
A simple payment option for stores that only sell a few products or services.
The updated integration with Website Payments Pro (Direct Payments) allows store managers to authorize, edit, and then process multiple orders at once, directly from their ProductCart Control Panel. Support for Website Payments Pro no longer requires the installation of the PayPal SDK on the Web server, making it easier for store managers to activate this feature. Advanced order management options, including batch processing, are also available when using PayFlow Pro.
Massimo Arrigoni, CEO of Early Impact, recently wrote an article about PayPal for Practical eCommerce, a popular Web site and magazine for businesses that have an online store. Refer to the article for an informal analysis of the different payment options now offered by PayPal.
The PayPal Web site also includes useful information and graphical explanations of how the different systems work.
ProductCart shopping carts will include the Certified Integration with PayPal starting with version 3.1, which will be available soon. A free update is now available for current ProductCart users as a BETA release. ProductCart is available from Early Impact and its resellers starting at $695 per storefront. Web designers and other resellers enjoy discounts, sales leads, and priority technical support.
