The Projector Reviews.com team puts each home theater projector from more than 40 manufacturers through a rigorous set of criteria to determine the Best in Class winner and its runner up.
In order to recognize quality home theater projectors in a variety of price points, projectors were grouped into 8 categories based on price range and functionality. The mix included four LCD projectors, three DLP projectors and two LCOS projectors. The first of these 1080p projectors hit the market last October, and the newest, started shipping this March.
