The new certification will allow 403 Labs to offer on-site PCI assessments along with their current PCI-approved scanning solution. American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International require that certain merchants and service providers have an on-site assessment completed on an annual basis in addition to quarterly vulnerability scanning to maintain compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). 403 Labs's PCI Compliance Division will now be able to fully service all levels of merchants and service providers with their PCI compliance efforts from start to finish.

403 Labs's recent acquisition of 5PEG SECURITY made the addition to the QSA list a natural fit. 5PEG had been involved in the MasterCard and Visa data security programs since their inception in 2001.
