RecruitMilitary shares the Department of Labor's commitment to increasing employer awareness of the value veterans bring to the workforce. These job fairs were very successful in connecting veterans to employers, and we look forward to working with RecruitMilitary in the future to conduct more of these extremely worthwhile events.
RecruitMilitary, based in Cincinnati, connects employers with job seekers who have military backgrounds. All of the company's owners, officers, account executives, and recruiters are either veterans or active or former reservists. The company was founded in 1998. The American Legion is the world's largest veterans organization, with 2.7 million members. The organization was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Indianapolis. HireVets First, known formally as The President's National Hire Veterans Committee, was created by Congress in 2002 to develop awareness among employers of the outstanding attributes of men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life.

HireVets First and RecruitMilitary have cooperated on career fairs since February 2006. Commenting on the HireVets First partnership with RecruitMilitary, Charles S. Ciccolella, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Veterans' Employment and Training, said, "RecruitMilitary shares the Department of Labor's commitment to increasing employer awareness of the value veterans bring to the workforce. These job fairs were very successful in connecting veterans to employers, and we look forward to working with RecruitMilitary in the future to conduct more of these extremely worthwhile events."

"We are pleased to have The American Legion and HireVets First on our Career Fair team," said Drew Myers, President of RecruitMilitary and a former Captain in the Marine Corps. "With their support, I believe that we can do an even more effective job of connecting employers with job-seeking veterans throughout 2007 and beyond."

RecruitMilitary produced 13 career fairs in 2006. More than 225 organizations and over 8,000 job seekers attended those events. The career fairs generated television coverage by CNBC, ABC, NBC, and CNN; radio coverage by ESPN and numerous regional stations; and articles in several newspapers. RecruitMilitary has scheduled 45 career fairs for 2007.

In addition to participation in career fairs, RecruitMilitary offers subscriptions to its database of registered candidates, currently numbering more than 152,000; job postings on its Web site, www.recruitmilitary.com ; advertising in online and print media; and contingency and retained hiring services. The company mails more than 53,000 copies of a quarterly, print newsletter called Incoming! to 230 military bases throughout the world for distribution to transitioning personnel.
