OST to Implement SharePoint 2007 for Urban Institute

Optimal Solutions and Technologies (OST), a CMMI Level 3 externally appraised information technology services provider, has been awarded a contract from the Urban Institute (UI) to implement SharePoint 2007.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) May 5, 2007 -- Optimal Solutions and Technologies (OST), a CMMI Level 3 externally appraised information technology services provider, has been awarded a contract from the Urban Institute (UI) to implement SharePoint 2007.

UI's International Activities, Education, and Tax Policy centers are in need of SharePoint Server 2007 to help facilitate communications within their respective groups. SharePoint will allow them to review and approve documents, coordinate travel requests and approvals, and set in motion events necessary for travel. OST's approach will include a discovery phase, design and development, and test and verification, as well as training, documentation, and follow-up services. During the discovery phase, OST will develop a detailed Statement of Work, in partnership with UI, to serve as a project blueprint.

Vijay Narula, OST's CEO, remarked that the work was very similar to other implementation projects the firm has completed.
