Manufacturer Announces Expansion of RFID Product Line

Automated Assembly Corporation now has high volume capability to meet its growing demand for its Rugged Tag® product line.

Lakeville, MN (PRWEB) May 5, 2007 -- Automated Assembly Corporation (AAC) announced today that it now has expanded capacity for its Rugged RFID tags® product line. The RFID products are custom build to customer specifications and can be made to any size and Pantone Color with customized graphics. AAC's construction technique makes the product highly durable and resistant to harsh environments and rough handling.

The Rugged Tags by AAC have been used in applications such as Homeland Security, Airport Security, Toll-Way Tags, Container Tags, Trailer Tags, Pallet Tags, Blood Tags, Tire Tags and any other application requiring tracking or electronic marking.

"We believe that Rugged Tags® are today's benchmark in terms of reliability and durability," stated Scott Lindblad, President of AAC and inventor of Rugged Tags®. Scott also said, ''This product line passes mil-spec thermal shock testing, automotive thermal shock testing, and Gen-2 thermal shock testing with ease. Our RFID Tags have been tested -55°C to a positive 125°C using a 10 Second transition from hot to cold for 2,000 cycles without failure. Competitive tags tested have had catastrophic failure within 14 cycles. Many of our competitors products can't stand up to the handling and environments needed to last in their applications, so we offer a cost competitive solution."

Rugged Tags® by AAC are RoHS compliant for European Markets. Their strength characteristics come from an inter-metallic bond, created with soldering the chip to the copper antenna, as opposed to polymer bonding or gluing.

"The acceptance of this product by our customers has been extraordinary," said Scott Lindblad. "Its versatility, robustness and cost effectiveness makes it ideal for many applications. Having expanded our RFID capability gives us a great opportunity to continue to grow this business."
