Scotsman Guide Wins Western Publications Association Maggie Award
The national mortgage magazine receives award for "Best Single Editorial Illustration/Trade".
Bothell, WA (PRWEB) May 6, 2007 -- Scotsman Guide, the leading resource for mortgage originators, has announced that it won a 2007 Western Publications Association (WPA) Maggie Award for "Best Single Editorial Illustration/Trade".
The winning illustration, by Scotsman Guide contributing illustrator Keith Negley, appeared in the mortgage magazine's February 2006 residential edition. It accompanied an article titled, "Construction Lending: Plug In."
Scotsman Guide accepted the award at the 2007 WPA Publishing Conference on April 27 in Los Angeles. Scotsman Guide's residential edition also was a finalist in two other categories: "Best Regularly Featured Department, Section or Column/Trade," for its Spotlight feature, and "Best Tabloid/Trade".
