Suz Andreasen Wins Bench Jewelers Passion Award, Will Appear in Vegas at Wynn Couture 2007

Suz Andreasen wins first place American Bench Jewelers Passion Award. The internationally known designer then heads to Las Vegas to exhibit at the exclusive Wynn Couture 2007 Jewelry event from May 30 - June 4.

To be acknowledged by other Bench Jewelers is the icing on the cake for me

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 10, 2007 -- Suz Andreasen, the prolific American Jewelry Designer, just snagged the 1st place Passion Award at the Bench Jewelers Association conference. Suz Andreasen's Couture jewelry is sought after by many, but this prize merits something to the designer on a personal level.

"To be acknowledged by other Bench Jewelers is the icing on the cake for me," she says sipping a bottle of Vitamin water at her new office on near Rockefeller Center.

Even more impressive is Suz's upcoming showing at Wynn Las Vegas Couture 2007. Andreasen will be exhibiting at the Wynn Couture Design Atelier from May 30th - June 4th. This will be her first year presenting and already the buzz is out that she is the favorite for the celebrity driven crowd. Her work walked the runways of the Grammy Awards and is often seen on the red carpet but Andreasen seems to focus on the big picture.

"I've just moved into a new office so that I now have a showroom for my clients and buyers. I finally have a room with windows and sunlight in my work area. I think the little things count. I just try and keep my feet planted and remember that what matters most is air in my lungs and a smile on my face."

Indeed, Suz Andreasen is smiling a great deal these days. She is a tough business woman with an acumen for branding her work and standing by her ideas. Suz is New York's Jewelry Designer with a heart for gold and a head for business. She is the founder and owner of Women Want Jewelry along with her husband and life partner, Bernard Nazario Andreasen, the known marketing guru and photographer. Her designs seem to be limitless and her work dazzling in 22K gold with she hand alloys and mills. She has also begun inventing new gold colors, following in the tradition of her father, the late George Andreasen who invented Memory Wire and died tragically of cancer at the age of 55.

"When I was a little girl watching my Dad tinker around with metal, I never thought I would end up in this field. But now, it all makes sense. Even though he died when I was only 24, I think he is smiling down on me from heaven."

If you manage to catch up with this lady in Vegas or even more exclusively, get a coveted appointment with her in her new studio and showroom on 48th street in New York City, consider yourself lucky. She is a gracious, kind and simply funny lady with a heart, (no pun intended) of gold.
