Earth Class Mail Announces New Chief Marketing Officer - Former Sprint & Nextel Executive Natalee Roan Joins Team

Earth Class Mail™, a global service that delivers postal mail online, has hired Natalee Roan as chief marketing officer. The former Sprint & Nextel marketing executive has spent 20 years in operational roles in marketing, sales, and finance. She most recently worked for Entellium, a provider of hosted CRM software, where as chief marketing officer she raised the company's profile to a market leader competing against Salesforce.com and Microsoft. Roan also developed their new brand, Rave CRM™ introduced earlier this year, in which she created the concept of Gamer Influenced Design, differentiating Entellium as the first business software company to hire video game designers to dramatically improve the user experience.

SEATTLE (PRWEB) May 9, 2007 - Earth Class Mail™, a global service that delivers postal mail online, has hired Natalee Roan as chief marketing officer.

"Natalee's background is classic 'David versus Goliath' and her wins against deep-pocketed competitors is impressive, including two start-ups that became multi-billion dollar companies," said Ron Wiener, founder and CEO of Earth Class Mail. "She has deep experience scaling start-ups and that is exactly what we need to maximize this opportunity."

Seattle-based Earth Class Mail is expanding rapidly due to demand, with customers in more than 80 countries now using the Earth Class Mail service to view and manage their postal mail from an Internet connection.

Roan has spent 20 years experience in operational roles in marketing, sales, finance and operations.

Prior to Entellium, she joined Sprint's wireless division at a pre-revenue stage and participated in numerous roles as it grew to $8 billion in revenues in just four years. Her responsibilities at Sprint included marketing, sales, training & distribution programs to support 35,000 sales reps at 13,000 points of distribution in consumer and business-to-business markets.

Roan's prior experience includes Nextel Communications and Verizon (then GTE Mobilnet) when each was in its infancy, where she authored early marketing plans including pricing, distribution strategy and target market segmentation. Wearing the multiple hats start-up veterans are famous for, Natalee also participated in the many issues involved in launching numerous markets simultaneously nationwide for a product with no brand identity to achieve targeted sales and revenue objectives.

The http://www,earthclassmail.com [Earth Class Mail online postal service gives customers online access to their postal mail from anywhere in the world, at any time. Customers range from mobile workers and military personnel to college students, expatriates, and entire businesses.

Earth Class Mail™ receives its customers' mail each day, scans the outside of the sealed envelopes and presents these images to the customer online. The customer then determines whether to have the mail opened and scanned, shredded, recycled, transferred elsewhere, or forward-shipped - similar to how people manage voice mails and emails. Multiple government studies have shown that less than 20% of postal mail gets recycled today, but Earth Class Mail customers are already recycling 93% of their mail.

"Ron had me at 'green' when he described his vision for Earth Class Mail," says Natalee Roan, Chief Marketing Officer of Earth Class Mail. We have a huge opportunity to help the environment by enabling individuals, businesses and even entire national post offices move postal mail online instead of flying and driving it around, allowing all that paper to end up in land-fills all over the world. This is a simple way people can make a difference - and be more productive at the same time."
